Frozen Embryo Transfer Preparation
Your preparation for a frozen embryo transfer begins on the 2nd or 3rd day of your menstrual cycle. Before this, if your general screening tests have not been performed in the last 6 months, they must be repeated:
Anti-HCV
HIV
HBsAg
Anti-HBC IgM
Syphilis (VDRL)
TSH, T3, T4
On the 2nd or 3rd day of your period:
Vaginal ultrasound is performed to evaluate the endometrium (uterine lining) and the ovaries.
Estradiol and Progesterone tests are conducted.
The results should be sent to our center on the same day.
If the ultrasound shows a thin endometrium, no remaining follicle from the previous cycle, and blood tests are normal, then medication will be started according to the list we provide.
You will use medication for about 10–12 days. During this time, you will need to have your uterine lining monitored and your hormones checked. Once the uterine lining reaches the desired thickness and the last hormone tests are normal, the transfer medications will begin, and the transfer day will be scheduled.

The Transfer Procedure
The transfer itself is a simple procedure that does not require anesthesia. You do not need to fast beforehand. You only need to drink some water to have a full bladder. With the help of a catheter under abdominal ultrasound guidance, the embryos are placed into the uterus. After the transfer, you will rest for about 30 minutes, and then you will be discharged with your medication instructions.
You may travel on the same day of the transfer without any risk.

After the Transfer
A blood pregnancy test is required 12 days after transfer. In the event of pregnancy, it is essential that you inform us of the result, as your medications will need to continue.
