Cyprus American IVF Center

Advanced maternal age and azoospermia — once again, Cyprus American IVF Center comes out on top

Because we had been disappointed by three attempts in the Netherlands, we started searching on Google for a center. We wanted embryo donation, but since we would be receiving both eggs and sperm, we couldn’t help wondering: would we be able to find healthy donors? Most importantly, could they give us the confidence we needed? Deciding on this treatment is never easy—those who’ve been through it know. We didn’t want to adopt, because we felt we couldn’t live with the fear that, just as we had bonded with our child, they might one day be taken away from us. We spoke by phone with 7–8 centers and gathered information.

When Cyprus American IVF Center contacted us, we learned that—as part of their standard routine for every patient—our egg donor would undergo RECOMBINE screening for hundreds of genetic diseases, whereas at other centers this can incur additional costs of up to €1,000. On the sperm side, we were convinced by the fact that we could choose cells from internationally licensed banks and review their certificates. The same day, our IVF coordinator arranged a video call with the doctor. When the doctor called, they were already familiar with the treatment history and tests we had provided. We had a very productive consultation in which a personalized treatment plan was outlined and the factors preventing pregnancy were identified.

Do not hesitate for a moment when choosing Cyprus American IVF Center. At the end of a process they carried out with great care to achieve a positive result, we finally said, “THIS TIME IT WORKED.” Our doctor and the team gave us a happiness greater than we had imagined. At last, we welcomed our miracle son, Ali.
